Sell to Us

If you’re like us – you’ve probably got at least a few things kicking around at home you wouldn’t mind turning into some store credit or cash!

Bring us your comics, video games, or Magic cards and we can help you do just that!

How does our buying process work? We’ll go into detail below but there’s one super important thing you need to know first:

If you want to sell us comics or large collections of video games and/or Magic the Gathering cards, please complete the contact form on this page to make an appointment to have your collection reviewed!

This is super important, as we may not always have a buyer on site to look over your collection and make an offer. We’d hate for you to bring in your awesome collection, and then not have anyone here to be able to properly evaluate it.

HOW TO BEST PRESENT YOUR STUFF!

It’s tempting to bring your things in their current condition, but the best thing you can do to get the most for your collectibles is to make them as presentable as possible. Contrary to popular belief, comics in “their original plastic” aren’t a thing. They’re just in dirty old bags and boards that need to be replaced. This costs money and reduces the amount we can pay for your collectibles because they require additional labor and supplies to prepare them for sale.

How we buy comics

Want to sell your old comics for cash or store credit? We’re here for you! Any comic collections brought in without an appointment, we can only purchase at our blanket bulk price of $10 per long box of comics. Please note that with an appointment, we can properly evaluate your collection and potentially offer more.

Here’s a few things to remember before scheduling your appointment:

Please only bring your comics in for your scheduled appointment unless you are interested in our blanket bulk purchase price.
Keep in mind there are some comics we have so much back stock in we may not even offer bulk pricing. Please be aware that bringing your items in to sell is not a guarantee that we will be able to purchase them.
When you bring your collection in, please understand that we have to have some time to focus on sorting it out and figuring out a proper purchase price.
We’re not going to be able to spend time looking at every single comic. Be prepared to show us the comics you feel are the most important to review in our price evaluation.
You can’t just drop your collection off, and then return later for a quote.
For large enough collections and/or collections of significant value, we can come to you.
We cannot give you any kind of estimates of what we’re able to offer via phone or email. We have to check it out in person to fairly assess it.
We do not appraise, grade, or value collections we evaluate for purchase – we can only give you our purchase offer.
We do our very best to make one fair offer so we generally do not negotiate once an offer has been made.

MOST IMPORTANT: We cannot offer the full retail / price guide value on anything. Our purchase price is usually significantly lower compared to the prices of what you would see in a price guide or online. If you are interested in getting market prices we would recommend selling the item(s) yourself.
